Simple actions like walking, sitting, or even using his hand have become a daily struggle.
For Swapan, the pain is not just physical —
it’s the frustration of wanting to do things on his own… but not being able to.
For the past 3 years, his wife has been his only support.
She works in other people’s homes — cleaning, washing utensils, doing whatever she can — just to keep their life going.
Even after working long hours, she comes back home to take care of Swapan — helping him sit, feeding him, supporting him through every moment.
But despite all her efforts… it is not enough.
Doctors have clearly said that regular physiotherapy and proper medication are essential for Swapan’s recovery.
With continuous treatment, there is hope that he can regain some movement and live with dignity again.
But the reality is harsh.
The cost of medicines…
the expense of physiotherapy…
regular care…
It has all become financially impossible for the family to manage.
Sometimes, his wife is forced to ask strangers for help — just to buy medicines for her husband.
Without proper treatment, Swapan’s condition may continue to worsen.
